I am a teaching focused Assistant Professor at WMG, University of Warwick, where I lead the development of Data Science, Machine Learning and related modules in the undergraduate apprenticship program.

My research in applied machine learning focuses on:

  • Application of Tiny/Edge-ML in educational settings.
  • Security of computer vision systems.
  • Applications of AI-ML in Supply Chain Management.

I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), which recognizes attainment against the UK's Professional Standards Framework for teaching. I am also a Fellow of the Warwick International Higher Education Academy (WIHEA). In addition, I hold a Postgraduate Award (with Merit) in Technology Enhanced Learning.

I obtained my Ph.D. in Engineering at the University of Warwick under the supervision of Prof. Darek Ceglarek and Prof. Pasquale Franciosa. My Ph.D. thesis was awarded the 2020 Faculty Thesis Prize for WMG. I also hold a Master of Technology in Industrial Engineering and Management from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur. My master's thesis was spervised by Prof. M. K. Tiwari. For my bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering, I received the 2010 Shri R Vekataraman Prize from The Aeronautical Society of India, recognising my academic performance as the best nationwide on the Associate Membership Examination.
